I'm not sure that more experienced folk would think of it as a particularly long one but in terms of getting out and the experience it will be a big one for me.

We're hoping to do a 5 day stretch on the Cape Wrath Trail in Sept. Paul and I would find it difficult to get the 2-week holiday together to do the whole thing but we can do a good section of it.

I'll do a post here on that soon as I'm hoping people will get involved and supply a bit of info in the planning phase.Marcushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01351297406970864492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6409591195378757931.post-44563206875756774772009-04-29T19:45:00.000+01:002009-04-29T19:45:00.000+01:00...the biggy....??...the biggy....??Nigel Grayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06814159056075588187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6409591195378757931.post-22970520916908993862009-04-28T19:43:00.000+01:002009-04-28T19:43:00.000+01:00Hi Ron/Nigel.

Its odd but its a route I found myself wanting to do again on my own - pretty much the moment I got back!

The next trip might be a solo wildcamp if all goes to plan, although I can't be sure when. The 'biggy' is looming too so must start to plan that a little more too!Marcushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01351297406970864492noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6409591195378757931.post-88318496283440841182009-04-28T09:11:00.000+01:002009-04-28T09:11:00.000+01:00Good to hear you've been out and about - thought y...Good to hear you've been out and about - thought you'd dissappeared!

The route is a long old day - Reminds me of when I did it in aid of the British Heart Foundation a few years ago - thought I'd need a new one (heart that is) after it! Didn't think to pack the sun-cream and finished with what felt (and looked!) like 3rd degree burns on my calves!Nigel Grayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06814159056075588187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6409591195378757931.post-56868787855541559022009-04-27T16:46:00.000+01:002009-04-27T16:46:00.000+01:00Great report!

Your example will help me in future to just, "suck it up" and press on. Amazing.

Well done!Ron Bloomquisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18002890847388840918noreply@blogger.com
