Winter nights are long - fact, Marcus wins! We were in bed for 7.30 so what did we expect? It was cold out and i was glad to have the Cumulus bag. We got up at 6 and got ourselves ready for to walk up Scafell for sunrise. It was cold but we vowed to make a brew on the summit. We found our way off track to the summit as the snow made it difficult to pick a path. We reached the summit shelter at bang on sunrise for a spectacular view as the pics show. More detailed report when i return.
