Just a quick one to say I got back from our short break in the Lakes to find a letter from Parcel Force. They are holding my parcel until I pay the VAT of £18.04 and a handling charge of £12.50! I can handle the VAT but what the heck is the handling charge?
Anyway, I have to accept that this is the cost of importing gear and just can’t wait to collect it after work tonight…

Handling charge is money for nothing. You and I did not pay Parcel Force. We paid UPS. I have had UPS deliver all the way to the door and no extra cost. Hand it over to Parcel Force they slap on the charges. Accept is yes. Agree no way. Enjoy the pack.

They did the same to me when I picked up my pack - not a happy bunny but no choice but to cough up our hard earned cash.............
Well folks I collected it and already the handling fee is forgotten.
I didn't have as much time to play as I'd have liked yesterday but I like it already. I need to play around a bit with how I pack it but it holds all my my gear, seems very comfortable and I can see no reason why I shouldn't take it with me.
